Conscious Being
What If This Is It?
What if this moment is the most enlightened you will ever be?
Not someday. Not after more healing, more work, or more growth. But now.
For many of us, there has been a belief that enlightenment is something we are moving toward, something just out of reach. Yet what if the truth is far simpler? What if we are already that which we are seeking, and the journey is not about becoming, but remembering?
The Truth of Who We Are
We come into this world as open, infinite beings. We arrive with a natural sense of wonder, connection, and love. There is an innate knowing within us, a deep awareness of our true nature as wholeness itself.
And then life happens.
We begin to hear messages about who we should be and who we are not. We learn what is acceptable and what is not. We start to form beliefs about ourselves that are rooted in limitation rather than truth. Over time, these beliefs become the stories we live by.
The journey of conscious being is the process of gently questioning and ultimately releasing those stories that are no longer aligned with who we truly are.
Which Self Are We Caring For?
When we talk about self-care, we often think about caring for the body, the mind, or the emotions. But there is a deeper question worth asking: which self are we caring for?
Our spiritual essence, the truth of who and what we are, does not actually need healing. It is already whole, already complete, already perfect. The only thing that ever needs to be released is anything that tells us otherwise.
The true surrender is not to something outside of us. It is a surrender into the knowing of our own wholeness. It is letting go of every belief that contradicts the truth that we are already complete.
The Simplicity of This Moment
Life can appear complicated and overwhelming, but there is a profound simplicity available to us at any moment. That simplicity is found in the present.
There has never been a moment other than this one.
And in this moment, we have access to the truth of who we are. We are not becoming enlightened. We are remembering that we already are. Enlightenment is not a destination; it is the recognition of what has always been here.
Forgetting and Remembering
There is a natural rhythm to this human experience. We remember, and we forget.
We may have moments of deep connection, where we feel aligned with love, oneness, and truth. And then we have moments where we fall back into old patterns, beliefs, and conditioning. This does not mean we have failed. It simply means we have forgotten.
The practice is not perfection. The practice is remembering.
From Attraction to Radiance
For many years, there has been a focus on the idea that we must attract what we desire. That once we find the right partner, the right job, or the right circumstances, we will finally feel fulfilled.
But there is a shift happening.
We are moving from the law of attraction to what might be called the law of radiance. There is nothing we need to attract because we are already what we seek. We are here to radiate love, to embody truth, and to express the essence of who we are.
When we live from that place, life naturally reflects it back to us.
Moving Beyond Blame
One of the patterns that keeps us stuck is blame. Blame can feel comforting because it allows us to believe that our circumstances are caused by something outside of us. We can point to our past, our parents, or the world around us as the reason we feel the way we do.
And yet, this keeps us small.
At some point, we are invited to recognize that while our past may have shaped us, it does not define us. We are no longer bound by those stories unless we choose to continue carrying them.
This is where true empowerment begins.
The Stories We Carry
Many of us are carrying stories that feel heavy, like a backpack filled with rocks. These stories may be rooted in pain, fear, or limitation, and over time, they begin to feel like truth.
Yet they are not who we are.
There comes a moment where we are invited to ask ourselves: am I ready to set this down? Am I willing to release the identity that has been built around these stories?
And the answer must come from within. Because while we are always free, we must be willing to choose that freedom.
The Illusion of the Cage
There is a powerful metaphor of a tiger who was kept in a small cage for many years, pacing in a repetitive pattern. When the cage was finally removed and the tiger was placed in a vast, open environment, it continued to walk in the same pattern.
Even though the cage was gone, the conditioning remained.
In many ways, this reflects the human experience. We may intellectually understand that we are free, that life is expansive and full of possibility. And yet, we continue to move in the same patterns that once kept us safe.
The invitation is to notice where we are still living within an invisible cage and to gently step beyond it.
A New Paradigm of Being
We have often described ourselves as spiritual beings having a human experience. And while this has been a powerful shift, there is an even deeper realization available.
What if we are spiritual beings having a spiritual experience?
What if there is no separation between the physical, the emotional, the mental, and the spiritual? What if everything is an expression of the same infinite presence?
In this new paradigm, there is nothing to fix and nothing to become. There is only the invitation to be.
The Power of Curiosity
As we move into greater awareness, curiosity becomes essential. Judgment constricts, but curiosity expands.
When we approach ourselves and others with openness, we begin to see beyond our limited perspectives. We recognize that our current level of awareness only allows us to see part of the whole, and that there is always more to discover.
This openness allows consciousness to expand naturally, without force.
Choosing Freedom Now
The invitation of conscious being is not about waiting for the perfect moment or the perfect conditions. It is about recognizing that freedom is available now.
We are not bound by the past. We are not limited by old beliefs. We are not defined by what has happened.
We are infinite beings, expressions of love itself.
And in this moment, we can choose to live from that truth.
A Simple Knowing
There is a simplicity at the heart of all of this.
We are love.
We are light.
We are here to radiate that love and that light.
Nothing more is required.
And in remembering this, even for a moment, everything begins to shift.
